It has been a hot and miserable July and August. Not to ruffle any feathers of true sun lovers,  but I will be glad when this summer is over.

Artist Franklin Evans just sent us a link to a nice interview of his artwork that is now featured at the Greater New York show at PS1. I ran into his work at the Sue Scott gallery about a year ago, so it was a pleasure to meet Franklin and talk some more about his influences. He was also one of the curators for the epic summer show Lush Life, which was hosted by nine LES galleries. Check out what he has to say here:
