William Latta and Amanda Sciullo

Created layer by layer, William Latta's large-scale un-stretched paintings are reinforced by their own internal structure built by tiling segments of linen, silk and cotton together through the meticulous transfer of acrylic, latex, enamel and ink. Amanda Sciullo's less subtle layering process, created from the fusion of abstract and representational images of wild animals, is also rooted in how she records what she takes in on a daily basis.
